Birmingham, AL. – The South Florida Bulls will face off against the University of South Carolina Gamecocks at the legendary Legion Field today at 2pm EST. T.J. Weist is the Bulls interim head coach, taking over for the recently departed Willie Taggart. Taggart accepted the Head Coach position at the University of Oregon on December 8th. West walked on at the University of Alabama and got his start coaching at the Capstone as a grad assistant.

The Bulls are 10-2 and are led by star quarterback Quinton Flowers. The Bulls almost seventh in the nation in scoring this season, racking up 43.6 points per game to blow most of their competition away. South Florida scored at least 30 points in all 12 of its games this season.

Meanwhile, the Gamecocks come into the game 6-6. Head Coach Will Muschamp relishes the matchup and the chance to play inside the Old Gray Lady.

“Legion Field is something special. It was home to many great Iron Bowls and great players played here,” Muschamp said. “For football historians like myself, playing in this stadium is something to look forward to.”
