CFB Top 5 #FansFavorite Things

5) The CFB Rankings
AP Top 25

1 Ohio State(27) 6-0
2 Baylor(13) 5-0 1
3 TCU(3) 6-0
4 Utah(16) 5-0
5 Clemson(1) 5-0
6 LSU 5-0
7 Michigan State 6-0
8 Florida 6-0
9 Texas A&M(1) 5-0
10 Alabama

Ok I just want to say that this poll I think I agree with a little bit more. One thing I would like to point out is that they have Ohio State still at 1 and BAMA has fallen to number 10. Let’s note that there is still not a SEC team in the TOP FIVE. What are your thoughts on the CFB polls?

4) BAYLOR CONTINUES

Did the Jayhawks have a chance? DID THEY? I mean Baylor beat them 66-7 and you know how I feel about a team being able to score in a blowout: BYE KANSAS!

3) FSU vs. The U

This rivalry game was pretty entertaining to me. Dalvin Cook ran for 222 yards. Yes you heard me…. 222!!!!! Miami almost had this game with QB Kaaya’s TD pass to Coley but there was too much time left on the clock for Seminoles to win this. FSU’s Cook, who is a Miami native, had three touchdowns and it was really his night!

2) USC Head Coach Sarkisian FIRED

I will be brief about this because all of the details have not been released. What we know is that Sarkisian showed up on Sunday morning for practice, but he was asked to take a leave of absence because he didn’t look healthy. Now we know that Sarkisian was asked to check into a rehab facility for alcoholism and that he is currently going through a divorce. By Monday USC fired him. As we wait for more details, the first thing any fan of College Football must do is have empathy towards this situation and how hard it may for the Sarkisian family. The next thing fans must do is be prepared for what will come. I do not see USC Athletic Director staying after this situation and I will be waiting to see how this will be resolved.

And the Number 1 Spot goes to………………

Thank You Coach Steve Spurrier

Now all of the details of University of South Carolina Head Coach Steve Spurrier’s resignation have not come out yet, but if it is due to health or personal reasons then I have to say THANK YOU “HEAD BALL COACH” STEVE. Many of the recruits that were looking forward to playing under his leadership have withdrawn their commitments and it is just odd that he would retire mid-season. I feel as if SC gave him an ultimatum and this was not a good time for that. Anyway, I know that I respect Steve Spurrier and what he has done for the game of College Football. You can’t take that away from him at all. Plus he had some of the best one-liners in game day interviews EVER!
