#CFBplayoff 2015 National Champions: The Ohio State University

All I could hear was, “OOOOOOOOOOOOOO—-HI——-OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO” throughout AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas around 10:45pm. I looked at my watch and that’s when the BEST DAMN BAND IN THE LAND played one of the fans favorite songs and allover this mega stadium fans were singing! I was there. This was historic. People were shocked. People were amazed. People were outraged. WON AND NOW DONE…. The Ohio State University Buckeyes beat Oregon Ducks 42-20

The very first mascot headgear choice that College Gameday’s Lee Corso picked back in October 1996 was the Brutus Buckeye’s mascot head. The Buckeyes played against Penn State that day and this started a new trend that many fans around the country look forward to. The final Saturday Selection of the first ever College Football Playoff season Lee Corso decided that he would pick the Buckeyes over the Ducks and I thank GOD he did. The Ohio State University had something to prove and the Ducks was the team to do it against after beating Alabama.

Nike, whose co-founder Phil Knight is Oregon’s biggest alum & booster, posted a great Champions Poster to describe the Buckeyes season:

They called you lucky. They called you undeserving. They called your conference weak and your team untested. They called the other teams a dynasty, the favorite, unbeatable. They called your ranking disputable and surprising. They called you a fourth seed, if that. They called you an underdog. But now they call you something else.

From Fans Favorite Fan & our creator who is one of your biggest fans:

Congratulations to the Buckeyes & Buckeye Nation!
