The NBA season is back! The Atlanta Hawks are back, well sorta. The Hawks hosted the Detroit Pistons for their season opener and lost. Womp! Womp! For the opener, Rich Homie Quan performed during half time and after the game. Not sure how his crowd was afterwards because I skirted out with 4 minutes left. I sat in section 216, which I’ve never sat on that side of the arena before and it was uber fun and quite entertaining sitting behind the sixth man section. (SN: I did’t know you had to audition to become a sixth man) They stayed crunk throughout the game and provided a different kind of energy. I loved the t-shirts the Hawks had for us. I ended up buying one because the shirts were a large. I was hoping they’d be an extra-large. Oh well.
As always, the Hawks are very engaging and give the ultimate fan experience. Highlight of my night was dancing to Rich Home Quan’s “Flex” This song blesses the trap soul. *inserts trap praise dance* Also. As well. I would have inserted a video below but technology gone technology and won’t cooperate. So you can watch it here. I’m sure I would’ve enjoyed the game more if the Hawks won. So such is life. One team had to lose, just wish it wasn’t mine. One game down, 40 more regular season games to go.
I have faith that the Hawks will have another amazing season. One loss doesn’t shake me. I’ll always be #TrueToAtlanta
