This is your team, Atlanta.
The excitement of entering Philips Arena and seeing the seats filled with volt green shirts, knowing that game one sets the tone for the series feels you up with pride. This is my first time attending a playoffs game and the Atlanta Hawks did not disappoint. Prior to the game, you had a chance to download the Hawks app and be a part of the light show. For some reason my list app didn’t work but that didn’t make me feel one way or another. I love the interactive court, it blows my mind at what a difference 2 years can make.
Sitting on the visitors side the entire season, the boys decided they wanted to sit on the home team side. A vast difference in the atmosphere and the experience. To be in the midst of Hawks fans to your left and right made the game that much more enjoyable. We were also close to the Sixth Man Group, the crunkest fans known to man; they stand the entire game and their energy is wild! Organist, Sir Foster brings the funk. Philips Arena was very electrifying last night. Bazemore, Teague, Scott, Millsap brought the heat!!! Kyle was cold last night, let’s hope he warms up by Tuesday.

I had no intention of buying tickets to Tuesday’s game. None. Promise. I left the arena floating on cloud 9. So why not experience it again for a second time. I doubt I buy anymore tickets the rest of the series. I wanted be able to experience my love for the Hawks with some important people in my life. I’m slowly but for surely turning my daughter into a #TrueBeliever. Atlanta has the best basketball organization in the NBA. Looking forward to the Hawks winning game 2 against the Celtics. Let’s not make it so close guys. You gave me heart palpitations. A win is win! Let’s do this!!
She’s always #TrueToAtlanta
