#FansSEC-SEC Games to Watch Week 3

There are 3 games that are really huge in the SEC this week.  Two of the games are in the Western Division and one game in the Eastern Division of the conference.

It’s GAMEDAY in the SEC and there are plenty games for SEC fans to be excite about.  Here are my top 3 games for this week.

  1. South Carolina at Georgia- 6pm EST on ESPN

The Gamecocks are coming off a very tough loss to swallow from the improved Kentucky Wildcats.  If there is ever a time that the Gamecocks are more vulnerable; it is right now.  They are the underdog going into Sanford stadium to take on the Georgia Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs look pretty good last week against Vanderbilt. However, there are still some uncertainty at their quarterback position.   I think it will be the battle of which team will have better quarterback play and control the line scrimmage.

  1. Auburn at LSU- 3:30 pm on CBS

Auburn goes into “Death Valley” to faces LSU after coming off a win against Mississippi State.  This is the time we now find out about Auburn’s quarterback, Jeremy Johnson, and what he can really do.  Johnson’s first two weeks as Auburn’s quarterback has been difficult.  Johnson’s ability to read the correct defense schemes will have to be better against LSU’s improved defense from last year.

Now, LSU is coming off a win against Mississippi State. Their defense is much improved from last year. The LSU defense was able to stop the run against Mississippi State.   LSU’s quarterback Brandon Harris will have to play great, but Auburn will have to slow down Leonard Fournette and his run game to win on Saturday night.

  1. Ole Miss at Alabama-9:15pm on ESPN

This is really the SEC Game of the Week.  Ole Miss won last year in Oxford, when college football was at a high level in the state of Mississippi. However, on Saturday night Ole Miss will have to travel to Byrant Denny stadium and have to try to pull off back-to-back wins over Alabama.

The key for Ole Miss to win this game is their quarterback Chad Kelly and the Ole Miss offense. Yes, Kelly has been very impressive to watch in his first two games completing 70 percent of his passes and throwing for over 500 yards.  Yes, Kelly does have some great offense weapons on the offensive line and the receivers. So, it will be interesting to see how they perform.

Alabama still has a great defensive line despite having an inexperienced secondary defense. The defensive line will have to play great, along with the secondary defense closing the gaps to make sure that Kelly does not take advantage of that.

There are plenty of star performers in this game for both sides of the ball.  I expect Alabama’s running back Derrick Henry and Ole Miss’s receiver Laquan Treadwell to be ready and to play great.

It’s going to be a great day of SEC Football for fans to watch!!!   Let the GAMES begin and enjoy this Saturday in the college football!!! It’s going to be a GREAT ONE!!!
