FCS Playoffs Info & Bracket

Did you know that the FCS have their own playoffs? Well they do and this playoff system is different than the FBS playoffs. The top eight seeds are North Dakota State, Eastern Washington, Jacksonville State, James Madison, Sam Houston State, The Citadel, North Dakota, and South Dakota State who all get first-round byes.

The overall number one seed is the North Dakota State University Bison  (Yes, this is where 2nd overall pick in the NFL draft and now Philadelphia Eagles Quarterback Carson Wentz played college football)

We want to share the FCS playoffs bracket with you:

Here are the two games we will check out during the first round of play this Saturday, November 26th:

North Carolina A&T competed in the Celebration Bowl last year in Atlanta, Georgia and recently lost the MEAC Conference Championship to North Carolina Central University. According to HBCU Gameday, the Aggies are the only HBCU conference represented in the FCS Playoffs. We will keep an eye out for RB Tarik Cohen of the Aggies and see what this team will do this Saturday.

Big South Conference Charleston Southern will play Wofford and we look forward to seeing how the Buccaneers will move forward on the FCS playoffs bracket. We’ve seen Charleston Southern play against Kennesaw State and they are an offensive force that Wofford must be prepared to stop.

Enjoy your holiday weekend with the first round of the #FCSPlayoffs
