The 21st annual George A. Lottier Scholarship Golf Tournament took place Monday, June 6, 2016 at the Country Club of Roswell located in the northern Atlanta suburbs.
The George A. Lottier Golf Foundation was created to preserve the memory of George Lottier and his love for the game of golf. Their mission is to provide support and training for future golfers and to assist qualified minority journalism, marketing and graphic design students in enriching their education.
To date, this event has provided over $180,000 in paid internships and scholarships to deserving students.
Monday, the foundation auctioned off premium signed memorabilia from National Football League legend Brett Favre, a signed University of Georgia Bulldogs helmet by former quarterback Matthew Stafford and Atlanta Falcons players Devonta Freeman and Matt Ryan. There also was a 19th hole raffle and a golf clinic!
