#FansNBA: Paul Pierce To Retire?

For about one or two mintues after Game 6 of the Wizards playoff game against the Atlanta Hawks, Paul Pierce thought he yet again saved the day when he drained a 3-pointer that did tied the game 94-94. After the officals reviwed the play, they waved off the shot after seeing that the ball was still in Pierces fingers. Now, that has to hurt deep.

Pierce told a reporter after being elimated in Game 6,

Paul Pierce: “I don’t even know if I’m going to play basketball again next year.”

On his way off the court, Paul Pierce thought, “I don’t know how many of these rides I have left.” He’ll consult family about retirement.

I don’t think ‘The Truth’ would want to end his career in the NBA after a shot that was .1 seconds from changing a series. After 17 seasons, I think Pierce has about one or possibly two more season to give us. Hopfully, Pierce will return for at least one more season. Just thinking, the 2015-2016 NBA season could possibily be Pierce, Kobe, Garnett, and Ray Allen’s last, that would be epic.
