This season, the NBA revolutionize the traditional All-Star game from the best from each conference into the top two players from their respected conference with the most votes. With much surprise, LeBron was the overall winner in the eastern conference and Steph Curry in the west.

The captains of each conference have the opportunity to pick the lineups for their team to play the ultimate All-Star game. In today’s game, most players are very friendly and warm with one another so this work perfectly with the NBA culture and gives the game much more excitement. On Thursday, James and Curry made their final draft selections for the All-Star game and for the most part, one player is the better drafter.

Judging by the line-ups, Curry went with the shooters, Warrior teammate Thompson and Rockets James Harden and LeBron drafted more of a traditional team with versatility in Cousins and Durant. Overall, LeBron has the better team, starting with three NBA MVPs, James, Durant, and Westbrook, although James’ team looks to be a task on paper, can they gel together and stop the hot shooters on team Curry? With all of the athleticism on Team LeBron, their defense and rebounding will determine how well this team can perform. Which for an All-Star game, won’t be competitive until the 4th quater. The 2018 NBA All-Star Game will tip off Feb. 18 at 8 p.m. ET from Staples Center.
