#FansCFB: The Day After #NSD2015

Well, Well, Well… Here we are the day after #NationalSigningDay and I think most College Football program Fax machines are resting! Fans, you do know that commits can still send in their Letters of Intent to schools after #NSD2015?? Well they can and even one of the student-athletes who committed to UCLA yesterday had to reopen his search because he found out that the Defensive Coordinator that helped to recruit him was leaving. SAD.

Take a look at the images below for highlights of #NSD2015:

LineBacker Roquan Smith (left) was joined by Defensive Tackle Trent Thompson (right) at his signing ceremony where he chose UCLA over UGA. Trent earlier on Wednesday chose the Dawgs and drove over to support him. One wonders now after the announcement made of Roquan reopening his search if he will actually end up at UGA…. We will keep a watch on this!

The DRAMA really came from Auburn as verbal commit Defensive End Byron Cowart stated that he wanted to be a WAR EAGLE but nothing was faxed over to Auburn. There was a twitter watch for his decision to be made official, but it seems like every year we get a great storyline from Auburn, Alabama. Never fails!

#DECOMMIT <—— Was the BEST HASHTAG of the DAY! I couldn’t stop laughing as Wide Receiver Brandon Martin made his decision or better yet FLIP announcement on twitter. EPIC!

I really did not see this happening but it did! Wide Receiver Cordell Broadus decided to go to UCLA (and join Diddy’s Son Justin) and his father stated he had to get rid of his USC underwear. LOL! Great storyline for him and to have watched him grow up has been wonderful. I wish him well there!

This kid has been a joy to watch here in Georgia and he is taking his talents to BAMA! Good luck Mekhi Brown and I hope to continue to hear wonderful things about you on & off the field.

Some times you just have to recognize the home team. Not really Ole Miss but Petal, Mississippi. Shouts out to Javon Patterson and his early commit to Ole Miss and I can’t wait to see him on the field with the Rebels.

Now. My most Memorable Moment of #NationalSigningDay comes from Wide Receiver Equanimous St. Brown. THIS GUY MADE HIS ANNOUNCEMENT IN GERMAN AND IN FRENCH!!!!! TOP THAT!!!! Whew! I was impressed. Way to GO IRISH!

That’s all I have for you all on my highlights of #NSD2015 and I must say that I enjoyed covering every minute of it! Shouts out to our photographer Itoro for covering live events here in Atlanta and to Score Atlanta for allowing us to join them on #NationalSigningDay. Until next year….
